The last time you and your dog owner friend met for a drink, she arrived wearing Birkenstocks.  “Why God, why?” you pleaded.  Well, it turns out that Rover had eaten the last pair of her socially acceptable footwear and it was all she had left. Sniffle. After a discussion about why it is that dogs seem to have a nose for your faves and leave your wouldn’t-be-caught-dead-in-those-shoes intact, you decide to take matters into your own hands.  Behold, the faux-fabulous-footwear chew toy!  So next time Rover feels the need to appease his shoe fetish, he’ll have something to chew on other than his poor owner’s fashion reputation.
